Mayco Elements Glaze - Cone 06-Cone 10

Cone 06 oxidation : Black Adventurine is a matte, mottled black and metallic dark copper glaze.

Cone 6 oxidation: Color changes to a glossy, metallic black/gray that breaks over texture. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur.

TIP: This glaze WILL move. Take care when using on vertical pieces reduce glaze thickness towards the bottom third to minimize run-off. Not overglaze compatible.

Apply 2-3 coats, allowing surface to dry in-between coats. When applying to a large surface, we recommend a broad, soft fan brush. As movement and flowing are characteristics of this glaze, taper off toward the bottom of the ware to prevent glaze running of the piece onto kiln shelves.
